Integration

Delivery reaches you where you already work.

The updates that matter are the ones somebody notices. GetFlowing sends job results, delivery notifications and approval prompts into Slack so progress and decisions do not sit unread in another dashboard.

Slack integration

How it works

Connect Slack and choose where GetFlowing posts. Job results and delivery notifications arrive as work completes, and approval prompts for risky actions reach the team in the channel they already watch. The full delivery, deployment and monitoring picture stays available in the dashboard when you want the detail.

The path

A day of delivery, seen from Slack.

Six moments, in the order they arrive in the channel. Everything between them happens in the platform without anyone having to go and look.

  1. Ask

Someone raises a feature, a fix or an investigation from the channel the team already uses.

  2. Follow

Delivery notifications report progress as the work moves through planning, implementation and testing.

  3. Review

The pull request and its test results are ready in GitHub when the change is complete.

  4. Approve

A production deployment, migration or secret change pauses and the approval prompt arrives in Slack.

  5. Ship

The release runs with health checks, and traffic only moves once it is healthy.

  6. Watch

Deployment and incident updates land in the same channel, next to the conversation that started the work.

Specification

What Slack carries, and what it does not.

Slack is the notification and decision surface. It carries the moments that need a person, and leaves the depth to the dashboard.

Posts to Slack
Job results, delivery notifications and approval prompts, in the channels you choose.
Raise work from Slack
Features, fixes and investigations can be requested from the channel the team already uses.
Approvals
Approval prompts arrive in Slack, and the decision is recorded in the audit trail like any other.
Not a shortcut
Slack is a surface, not an exception. Production deployments, migrations and secret changes stay paused until a person approves them, wherever they were asked.
Incidents
Deployment and incident updates land beside the conversation about them, so the release that changed behaviour is easy to find later.
Who it includes
Founders, product and operations people can follow delivery and raise work without living inside an engineering tool.
Still in the dashboard
Logs, monitoring, deployment history and the planning workspace, for whenever the detail matters.
